One of the most important historical and cultural developments in Judaism during the Hellenic period was the formation of the movement, during the late third century B.C.E., that later became the Hasidim.

From them are derived the Pharisees, Essenes, Zealots, and others, including the later Rabbinists and Talmudists, who are their spiritual descendants.1

The name Hasidim means “pious, devout” ones.2 These early Hasidim must not be confused with the German mystics of the 12th–13th centuries C.E. or with the modern Hasidic movement, founded in 18th century Poland by Israel ben Eliezer.3

5. Passover – Pentecost Connection I

An important part of the celebration of Passover and the seven days of Unleavened Bread was the day on which the high priest waved the עמר (omer) of freshly cut grain in front of the altar of Yahweh as an offering.

This event occurred on the first day of the 50-day count to the חג שבעות (Khag Shabuath; Festival of Weeks).

As a result, for the Jews and later the Chris­tians, the events associated with the 50 days of the Festival of Weeks (also called Pentecost) were regarded as an important facet of the Passover celebration.

Messiah Convicted of Blasphemy
Did Yahushua the Messiah actually commit blasphemy, a charge that led to his conviction and death sentence by the religious leaders of Judaea?

Was there any scriptural basis for the extreme hatred these leaders harbored toward Yahushua, ultimately resulting in their desire for his death?

To the religious leaders responsible for Yahushua’s conviction and execution, the Messiah had much to say:

You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and has nothing to do with the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks according to his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies. (John 8:44)

Are there any facts that indicate Yahushua committed the scriptural crime of blasphemy, thereby justifying his execution?

Consider this intriguing question: Who was the divine entity that spoke to Moses and declared:

I am the eloahi of your fathers, the eloahi of Abraham, the eloahi of Isaak, and the eloahi of Jacob. (Exodus 3:6)

In Exodus 3:7, this eloahi is identified as Yahweh. Remarkably, this very eloahi is recognized as an angel in Exodus 3:2. Even more amazing, this angel is identified as the angel Yahweh in Acts 7:30-35!

How can we reconcile the implications of these scriptural references?

How many are aware of the fact that Scriptures indicate that there is more than one personality that is referred to as Yahweh?

Strange as it may seem, when one examines the evidence contained in Scriptures, it will reveal a surprising truth that many have never considered.

Simply put, the evidence will divulge that there are plural individuals in Scriptures referred to as Yahweh!

This concept will be demonstrated by addressing the issues surrounding the Hebrew generic terms representing “deity” and “divinity.”

We’re going to start by examining the singular form אלה (eloah), its common usage as the plural אלהי (eloahi) and as the collective noun אלהים (eloahim), as well as the scriptural concept behind the expression “Yahweh eloahim.”

Grace. A Free Ticket? – Part 2
Now that you’ve read Part 1, one might still wonder if that “free ticket” to salvation is as good as it seemed. If any doubts linger, it is highly suggested that you proceed with Part 2 of our investigation.

Scriptures indicate that our Inheritance cannot be obtained without a sinless sacrifice. The process required that father Yahweh give Yahu Yahweh all things, even his sacred name, and then Yahu, in turn, would pass on these things as an inheritance in a conditional will.

Genesis 26:1-5 confirms that the covenant with Abraham was conditional when it reports that Yahweh told Isaak that he would fulfill the promises “BECAUSE Abraham listened to my voice and obeyed my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.”

Yet even Abraham was a sinner, for all have sinned. Like the rest of us, he must come into the Eternal Inheritance by grace and by means of the messiah.

Torah of Moses Brings Curse
Further requirements were attached to the promises given to Abraham because of transgression (Gal. 3:18-19). These conditions were given in the form of the Torah of Moses or Old Covenant made at Mount Sinai and the “works of the Law (Torah)” which were added thereto (Rom. 9:32; Gal. 2:16, 3:2, 5, 10), i.e., as found in the books of the Torah. The covenant at Mount Sinai and works of the Torah did two things:

Multiple Names of Salvation?

Multiple Names of Salvation?
According to Scriptures, is there more than one name that can be called upon for salvation?

This question arises from the belief that “Yah,” as seen in the Messiah’s name (Yahushua or Yahshua), contains a shortened form of the Father’s name, Yahweh. Thus, “Yah” is equivalent to “Yahweh.” For salvation, this implies that both Yahushua and its variant, Yahshua, are equivalent to Yahweh.

Many people hold the view that, besides Yahweh, the various names used all carry the same significance, suggesting that any of these names could effectively lead to salvation. Names like Yeshua and Jesus are also considered sufficient for this purpose.

While this reasoning aligns with the beliefs of many, a deeper examination of the Scriptures reveals a different conclusion. This study aims to explore what the Scriptures truly say about this matter.

Yahweh Prepping 101

So you think you’re prepped and ready to go. You may be prepared to survive a doomsday scenario by making sure you are stocked adequately with food and ammo, but that’s not actually the important prepping.

In reality, the essential prepping is for one to be prepared to do Yahweh’s work. This means you got a job to do, and if you are a teacher of Yahweh’s assemblies, it would be helpful if you knew what your job was.

Sad to say, based upon what’s being taught by the leaders of the various Sacred Name groups today, there just doesn’t seem to be many teachers who actually know what their job should be. Some think they are doing their job but, unfortunately, are not prepped with enough of Yahweh’s truth to get the job done.

Why Yahushua Instead of Yahshua?
This spelling brings attention to the first part of the messiah’s earthly name: Yahu-shua (Yhw-shua). At some point, the “waw” was stripped out of the name, rendering the spelling Yah-shua.
