I wanted you to tell me what time it is according to Yahweh’s clock pertaining to mankind.
If you are a proclaimed instructor of Yahweh’s word and the answer eludes you please heed the following scripture.
Yahushua answered, and said to him (Nicodemus): Are you a teacher of Israel, and you do not know these things? (John 3:10)
You see, keeping track of time is very important to father Yahweh. Brings to mind the familiar saying which is quite true when it comes to Scriptures, “Timing is everything.”
If you think about it, Yahweh’s clock for mankind was actually revealed quite early on in Genesis.
And eloahim said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years: And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so. And eloahim made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also. And eloahim set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth, And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and eloahim saw that it was good. (Genesis 1:14-18)
Yahweh said to Adam that he would die in the day that he ate of the fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, you shall not eat of it: for in the day that you eat thereof you shall surely die. (Genesis 2:17)
Adam lived 930 years yet he died in the day that he ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
When we reference Scriptures to define how long a day is it all makes sense.
Yet the present heavens and earth are treasured up by his word, fire being kept for A DAY OF JUDGMENT and destruction of wicked men. Yet do not let this one thing be hidden from you, beloved, that ONE DAY is with Yahweh as a THOUSAND YEARS, and a THOUSAND YEARS as ONE DAY. (2 Peter 3:7-8)
Notice that the Judgment Day is also as a thousand years!
It seems there is a also a day of rest for Yahweh’s people to enter.
For if Yahushua had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another DAY. There remaineth therefore a REST to the people of Yahweh. For he that is entered into his REST, he also hath ceased from his own works, as Yahweh did from his. Let us labour therefore to enter into that REST, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief. (Hebrews 4:8-11)
Could this have anything to do with the First Resurrection and the Sabbath millennial rule of Yahushua and the elect?
And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the lives of them that were beheaded for the witness of Yahushua, and for the word of Yahweh, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with messiah a thousand years. (Revelation 20:4)
What happens after the First Resurrection and the Sabbath millennial rule of the messiah and the elect?
But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. (Revelation 20:5)
Next comes the Judgment Day as mentioned above in 2 Peter and we know how long of a period that is.
And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment. (Hebrews 9:27)
Even Martha knew about the resurrection of her brother Lazarus in the last day (Judgment Day).
Yahushua said unto her, Thy brother shall rise again. Martha said unto him, I know that he shall RISE AGAIN IN THE RESURRECTION at the LAST DAY. (John 11:23-24)
What is quite interesting is the fact that Yahushua began his ministry in the latter days (not to be confused with the last day).
In many parts and in many ways in the past the deity spoke to the fathers by the prophets, IN THESE LATTER DAYS, he has spoke to us by his son, whom he appointed heir of all things, by means of whom he also made the world-ages. (Hebrews 1:1-2)
Take note that the prophets spoke to the fathers in the past and Yahushua spoke after that period of time which is referred to as the latter days. This would, by default, make the previous time the former days. (That’s too easy!)
Just how many days are involved in Yahweh’s plan for mankind? You should have enough information by now to do the math to come up with the correct answer. Hmmm, Sabbath Millennium Day (7th day) + Judgment Day = (answer).
Now, as of this writing which is Februrary of 2012, the following would be acceptable answers.
• We are in the latter days.
• We are in the 975th year of day six of the eight days of Yahweh’s plan for mankind. (Don’t get too excited. A day is as a thousand years which is not exactly one thousand.)
• The next Sabbath year will begin in the spring of 2016.
• We are in the 16th year of the 70th Jubilee cycle from the time that the Israelites were told by Yahweh to observe the first Jubilee occurring in the spring of 1386/85 B.C.E. in the land of Kaanan.
• As of 2016, beginning with spring, we would be in the 70th and last year of the 70 year Unconditional Blessing Period given by Yahweh to the nation of Joseph/Ephraim/Israel. (By the way, I am not talking about the nation located in the Middle East.)
You might wonder why knowing precisely what time it is would be important. It is important because Yahweh’s plan for mankind is revealed through the clock that he told us to observe.
For instance, the instructions for observing sabbaths, new moons, feast days, years, etc., cannot be followed accurately if we don’t know how to read the clock. The following verse demonstrates that time seemed to be an important concept for mankind.
And he (Yahushua) said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath. (Mark 2:27)
One can only conclude that the sabbath is good for mankind and he should obey the command to keep it. Needless to say, it requires an accurate understanding of reading the clock to keep the sabbath day properly and all the other set-apart times of Yahweh.
Those that are studied in Scriptures realize that Yahweh’s set-apart times are also prophetic or shadows of future events and if they are understood they help one progress in their quest for obtaining a share in the eternal inheritance which gives eternal life.
Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of a feast day or a new moon or a sabbath day: which are a shadow of the things to come; but the body is messiah’s. (Colossians 2:16-17)
Much more can be said about Yahweh’s clock but that will be for another time. (Was that what I thought it was?)
