Not really. To me it seemed overemphasis in single misinterpreted verse and followed on with that mindset, ignoring what even what contradicted. I’ve examined plenty and also fit into Yahowsha’ account to align best as I can pointing from MANY directions and where very few apparent conflict found it poor translations or scribal corruption. But worn out discussing, the important thing is we observe and understand the meanings.

Hey Chuck, You seemed to have forgotten the stuff contained in part two regarding the proof that arab (evening) and byn ha-arabim (between the evenings) are synonymous and both refer to the period of time just after after sundown beginning the day. Regarding Exodus 12:18, notice you eat unleavened bread ON the 14th, not on the 15th, and then UP TO/UNTIL the 21st. Add 6 days to Day 1 (Abib 14) and you have Abib 20. Seven total days UP TO/UNTIL/NOT INCLUDING Abib 21. For some reason most people miss the concept of "ON." Discussion regarding Exodus 12:18 is in the post. Check it out again. After you digest and grasp these two points, then the passages cited from Leviticus and Numbers will become more clear regarding the harmony of a 7-day khag of Passover and Unleavened Bread being Abib 14-20. This will be discussed in a forthcoming post on the Passover Series. By the way, don't forget that Abib 14, Passover Day, is also a khag (festival).

THIS DAY (Abib 14, Passover) shall be for you a memorial day, and YOU SHALL KEEP IT A KHAG (FESTIVAL) to Yahweh; throughout your generations you shall observe it an ordinance for a world-age lasting time. Exodus 12:14

Here’s amplified Leviticus, you may enjoy too.

Lev 23:6 ‘And on the fifteenth day of this month is the Festival of Unleavened Bread to יהוה – seven days you eat unleavened bread.

Num 28:17 and on the fifteenth day of this month is a festival. For seven days unleavened bread is eaten.

Exo 12:18 ‘In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month, in the evening, you shall eat unleavened bread until the twenty-first day of the month in the evening.

14th (not 13th) end of daytime sundown (going into 15th), to 21st end of daylight sundown = 7 days Oops :^)

Began eating unleavened bread last night during the Festival of Passover and Unleavened Bread, Abib 14.

Good to know that we both eat unleavened bread for 7 days and not 8.

Don’t have much time to engage. Just got done getting the yeast out of my house. Looking forward to the Festival of Unleavened Bread starting tonight and the lamb (kabobs/Passover). And will eat unleavened bread for 7 days (not 8 ;^).

Hi Chuck, Take a look at the Exodus 12:6-13 that immediately precede Exodus 12:14 and you will realize that "this day," also being a memorial and a khag (festival) can only be the same day being discussed, that being Passover day of Abib 14. There is no indication of a change of day. Since it is proven, per Scriptures, that Passover is a festival day of the entire 7-day festival of Passover, Scriptures also demonstrate that Passover is the victim itself or the sacrifice. Context will define. See 3. Passover – What Is It? The sequence of events during Passover in Exodus 12 has been thoroughly given in detail. The other questions will be answered in forthcoming posts but before doing that, what has been done is to lay a firm foundation from the original instructions. First things first, so to speak. The very purpose for the Passover Series is to help eliminate the present confusion that many have regarding Passover and Unleavened Bread. Stay tuned for more.

This is very interesting and provoking. From the description of Ephraim, it strongly points to USA. Thinking about it, it is the only nation that produces the bible and distribute to other nations far greater in number than any nation on earth. And when it comes to military strength, no country on earth, at least at this time, is capable to equal the power of America. If USA is indeed receiving this so-called unconditional blessing, it puzzles me much that people in general are still lavishly enjoying the day-to-day luxury living as if the nation is not in debt for approximately 16 trillion dollars. Businesses are moving out of the country. Many people are losing jobs, yet, I see no heavy duty rally as if nothing serious is happening; it is simply mind boggling. With all these signs of an economic downfall yet still living in luxury, it makes sense this nation of USA is receiving this unconditional blessing. I am now in the process of digging much on this unconditional blessing stuff; it bugs me a lot that it is making sense to me now.

Is Exodus 12:14 a wrap up of passover, or instead an introduction to the festival of unleavened bread which follows?

Is passover a day, festival or a slaughter. I find “KILL THE PASSOVER” funny if it’s a festival.

I also note other verses that state passover eaten, first born killed around midnight, Pharoah summoning Mosheh, and “they departed that very same day”, with a lot of wealth…on the 15th day of abib.

I’m not sure what the “last supper” was and they left the house “to watch” on Mt Olives. Did Yahowsha’ disregard the Torah?

Seems next day 9th hour (between the evens noon-sundown)Yahowsha became the passover and body needed to be placed in tomb before the high sabbath of unleavened bread starting at dark.

But yes is confusing but and I’ve viewed it that way in past, but find

Hey Chuck,

Article is in complete accord with Numbers 33:3-5. As noted, the Israelites did not start their travel from Ramses/Goshen to Succoth until Abib 15. They could not travel on Abib 14 because of it being a High Sabbath. This was all covered. Seems that you somehow misunderstood the timeline as put forth in the article (see part III, Exodus 12:34-37).

Don’t know where the bias is regarding the Festival of Passover. Exodus 12:14 gives in reference to Passover day:

THIS DAY shall be for you a memorial day, and YOU SHALL KEEP IT A KHAG (FESTIVAL) to Yahweh; throughout your generations you shall observe it an ordinance for a world-age lasting time.

Kinda funny that you missed it in the article.

Interesting article….but was hoping it would deal with Numbers 33:3-5 which contradicts the timeline. Also how does the bias of refering to “the Festival of Passover” fit with Yah’s intructions to “KILL the Passover”? Actually funny when thinking of it as a day or festival.

A lot of groundwork has to be established before addressing the hard scriptural evidence proving a 7-day Festival of Passover and Unleavened Bread, Abib 14-20.

Most people believe they are already following the guidelines from Scriptures by their observation of Abib 14-21 and have no need to review the instructions from Scriptures again.

Therefore, it is the intent of the Passover Series to provide other evidence, namely historical and chronological, in addition to the Scriptures that will hopefully prompt individuals to question their present view of their Passover practice.

When the necessary foundation is put into place, the Yahu Ranger can then proceed to lay out the evidence for the true practice of Passover and Unleavened Bread directly from Scriptures.

When I first studied close to 20 years ago how to do the Passover, it really was exciting. Although it’s still exciting even just reviewing it again. It does help once you get into the Scriptures of knowing how those different groups did it.
